Pekanbaru - MI: National Education Minister (the minister) Mohammad Nuh asked all parties to stop debating the issue of national examinations (UN) because the government will continue to enforce the policy for the advancement of education.
UN not to debate, the minister said his visit was interrupted in Pekanbaru, Riau, Saturday (5 / 12).
According to him, stopped the UN is not a solution to advance the education sector in Indonesia. He considered education in Indonesia still needs the UN to encourage students to have a high competence to be able to compete in the era of globalization that is more competitive.
Therefore, he admitted that he is more interested in improving the UN system so that no fraud on the part of schools that only concerned with fulfilling the students' graduation targets. Who argue that the UN is like an athlete who was not ready to compete. Then when we can move forward, said the minister.
He also said that the 100-day program itself as the minister will be more focus on programs perampungan Internet connection to 17,500 schools in Indonesia. The program will reach all levels of schools starting primary school (elementary) to secondary school (SMA)
